Britania Group of Islands is located in Barangay Britania, San Agustin, Surigao del Sur. Britania Group of Islands is composed of 24 islets that varies from shapes and sizes scattered magnificently around Lianga Bay facing the great Pacific Ocean.
The adjacent Islets are mostly spherical in shape and some of them are partially surrounded with pristine white sands so pure and refined. Famous for its pristine water and very fine, almost powdery sands and the different hues and colors of sea water that changes from one island to another.
Boslon Island, the largest islet in the group. Boslon Island is surrounded by different rock formations on one side; on the other are powdery white sands stretching out to the bluish green sea waters. Being the biggest islet among the 24, Boslon is the perfect place for overnight camping.
Panlangagan Cave Island and Panlangagan Forest Island on one side is a walk away during low tide from Boslon and on the other side was the spectacular sight of Minasingin Island.
The sight of Isla Verde Island, Malingin Island and Litik Island looked like green mushrooms that sprouted out of the sea.
Bonbon Island has a long stretch of powdery white sand beach and green vegetations and can be reached by boat in 20 minutes from Boslon and along the way you’ll pass Kang Jose Island, Kanlota Island and Taguan Island.
Hiyor Hiyoran Island and Hagonoy Island are so enticing to frolic and laze around with its refined white sand shores. The farthest are the Islands of Panas and San Pablo.
And last but not the least is the famous Naked Island, a long stretch of sand bar so pure and white that vanishes during high tide.
HOW TO GET THERE:
From Bancasi Airport in Butuan City
-Take a commuter van that will take you directly to San Agustin. Its a 3-4 hours trip from the airport. Make sure you pee first.
-Or go to Butuan City Bus Terminal and take bus going to Barobo Terminal. From there, ride another bus going to Tandag and get off at San Agustin.
From San Agustin, ride anything that moves and visit the local Tourism Office.

Tinuy-an Falls is a waterfall in Bislig City, Surigao del Sur in the southern island of Mindanao, Philippines. It is also known as the widest waterfalls in the Philippines.
The water cascading down the three waterfalls look like a curtain of white froth that makes the trip all worth it. Bathing in its cool waters is definitely an experience that you will never find elsewhere. Aside from this, the whole waterfall area is also a sanctuary of many wild species that makes it a very ideal place for nature tripping. If your are lucky and the water is not so deep, you get to explore every crevice of the Tinuy an Falls and get to enjoy all the wonders that nature has to offer.
HOW TO GET THERE:
There are no direct flights to Bislig from Manila. If you’re coming from Luzon or the Visayas, book a flight to Butuan City, Agusan del Norte. Land travel from Butuan to Bislig takes three to four hours. If you’re coming from Davao, it’ll take four to five hours.
From Bislig, take the Poblacion > San Isidro-Burbuanan > Tinuy-an Route. Tinuy-an Falls is exactly located in Burboanan, Bislig City. It’s so popular you’ll have an easy time locating the place.
